Ink to Paper

When I was in preschool, my teacher gave us one of those “About Me” sheets to fill out, and on the line next to ‘Want I want to be when I grow up’ I scribbled in terrible handwriting that I wanted to be a doctor. Seemed fitting, but as I grew a year older and my penmanship got slightly better, that dream faded. With a brief intermission at fence painter, my dream career quickly shifted to being a writer, and I never looked back.

Canoeing the Kickapoo

One of my favorite things about living in Wisconsin is the character of the seasons. Each holds their personality, but none can compare to the fiery auburn autumn with her brisk morning frosts and pockets of sunshine.
